Carb Food List - Low Carb Foods

You’ll probably be surprised that some fruits are low in carbohydrates and many, many vegetables are on the list.
Of course, meat has no carbs but you need to be careful what you put on it. Sauces, rubs and basting condiments all have carbohydrates so you need to forgo any of that extra stuff if you are starting a low carb eating plan.

And be careful with lunch meats too - they can have high carb fillers in them!

To find out the carbohydrate content of any food, first make note of the total carbs. Then calculate the net carbs by subtracting the fiber. Since fiber is not digested, it does not contribute towards raising your blood sugar and can be subtracted from the carb count.

I have compiled this list of foods where each serving is 5g carbs or less For the total carb amounts I have listed the “net” carbs.
